  • “Sit with a mindful body: tall spine, hands on your lap and your feet flat on the floor, if you are on the ground cross your legs ”
  • “Exhale all the air out of your mouth, close your mouth and breathe in through your nose”
  • “And exhale through your nose. Soft, gentle breaths”
  • “Hā ki roto………...hā ki waho”
  • Breathe in, tall spine, breathe out, relax your belly
  • “Breathe in……….breathe out”
  • “Hā ki roto………...hā ki waho”
  • *Try to extend the number of breaths you do over time.
