“How do you think your body might feel?” Eg. bright eyes, happy tears, light heart, tingly body, jumping around?
“What emotion do you think this is?” Eg. happiness, gratitude…
“Turn to a friend and tell them about what makes you happy and grateful and awesome in your life.”
Lead a share if there is time. Remember not to judge what brings happiness to the kids (unless completely inappropriate) Instead we can encourage kids to savour these moments knowing they don’t last forever.
