We know that changes happen in our body when we start to head towards our red brain. When we get to know the specific changes that happen in our body we can get better at using our mindfulness to get ourselves back to our green brain before we do things we aren’t proud of.

Draw pictures or write words over the parts of the body you feel most in your red brain. You might draw a tiger on the chest or write the word “fast” over the heart. There is no wrong answer here, it’s your body and your experience. It’s best if you do this from experience, but if you’re not sure, try to remember the things we learned can happen when our bodies go into fight, flight or freeze (red brain).
